Rise of the Angry Earth - Free Update

The Rise of the Angry Earth expansion is now included for free in the base New World game for all PC players as part of the Season 10: Nighthaven launch celebration.

Who Gets Free Access

  • PC players who own the original New World base game (without the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion) will automatically receive this content with the Season 10 update.

Note: New World: Aeternum players already have this content included.

Automatic Refunds

  • PC players who purchased the expansion within 30 days of October 13, 2025 (7:00 AM PST) will receive automatic Steam refunds within 72 hours.
    • No additional action is required.

Troubleshooting

Missing Expansion Access

  • Verify you own the New World base game on PC
  • Confirm you haven't previously purchased the expansion
  • Restart Steam and check your library
  • Ensure Season 10 update has downloaded completely

Refund Not Received

  • Wait the full 72 hours before contacting support
  • Check your Steam transaction history
  • Verify your purchase was within the 30-day window (ending Oct 13, 2025 at 7:00 AM PST)
  • Contact Steam Support if refund doesn't appear after 72 hours
