Changing Audio Language
When first installing New World: Aeternum the supported audio language will be determined by the console system language. (Supported audio for New World: Aeternum is English, French, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.)
In-game you cannot change the audio language. If you want to change the audio language for another supported language you need to do the following:
- Exit New World: Aeternum and in the console settings adjust the system language to your preferred audio from the New World: Aeternum supported audio list.
- If you're playing on Steam, those settings can be adjusted by going to App Properties > General > Language.
- After launching the game, Xbox OS will ask for language download. Once completed you have to restart the game for the download to take effect.
- On completion of the download re-launch New World: Aeternum and navigate to the game settings. The audio language will now show the updated Audio language.
Note: New World: Aeternum supports Latin American as text only. If you set your region to a Latin American country (e.g. Mexico) and the system language to Spanish the game will download the Spanish (EU) audio pack.
